I'm moving again - hopefully, anyway.
I was not happy with the way things got packed from my studio last time.
I have tons of stamps as well as everything else and look for your packing advise!

maybe i should be more specific.
I just don't know where to start.
Perhaps i should put the rubber stamps in small boxes together by category and then into larger boxes.
Last time i had them in plastic show boxes like rubbermade and taped them all up, but the boxed got beat up pretty bad and cracked/broke.
I was thinking pizza boxes... and tape 3-4 full ones together or inner pack them into big boxes so the stamps stay flat and the rubber doesnt get messed up.
i am clueless on how to pack the many many jars i have accumulated and filled with beads buttons ribbons and other bellies... I am thinking i will use a lot of bubble wrap and newsprint. I read something about not using newspapers because the ink will rub off and tarnish nice things.
Luckily I use a lot of those pretty photo storage boxes and i can easily inner pack those into larger boxes.
I have a lot of iris drawers or similar that dont have the lids, just drawer-like pull outs with so much loose odds n ends - this baffles me also on how to handle, tho i want to bannish those storage solutions from my studio completely eventually.
I love the ones you can get now with the hinged lidded drawers, i use for scrapbook papers and kits.
Also i have a LOT of inkpads... i keep then on old cassette shelves stored upside down ( keeps the ink to the top of the felt in case you didnt know) I want to make sure they stay upside down thru the move... likewise with pens n markers. granted its all goign to be packed for a short while, i dont want to risk running them dry.
I have also probably 15-20 reams worth of 8.5x11 cardstock, thats heavy enough on it's own, how would you pack it to keep the boxes from being too heavy?
I am hoping to have movers, but will do my own packing/unpacking.
yes all my stuff currently is housed in a room of its own...and then some.
